1. Information We Collect

PyWorks collects essential information to register merchant accounts, configure digital catalogs, and process platform subscription payments. This includes:

• Merchant Registration Data: Email address, physical store metadata, social contact handles, name, and login credentials.
• Subscription Transaction Data: When purchasing or renewing a subscription, transaction routing numbers and payment statuses are securely recorded.
• Customer Placement Logs: To support store order tracking, our database stores order records (name, delivery address, phone number) on behalf of merchants.

2. Payment Processing Security & PayFast Disclosures

We implement secure methods to handle all platform subscription payments:

• Third-Party Secure Redirection: Subscription checkout is securely routed through the payment gateway partner, PayFast.
• No Card Data Retention: PyWorks Catalog **does not collect, process, or store** credit/debit card numbers, CVV codes, or bank passwords. PayFast handles all transaction verification under strict compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS).

3. Database & Hosting Protection

Our infrastructure is powered by Supabase enterprise databases and Cloudflare Global Edge Network. We configure strict Row-Level Security (RLS) policies and encrypted connections to safeguard merchant settings, client orders, and product data from unauthorized access, ensuring complete tenant isolation for all stores.

4. Data Usage and Third Parties

We use merchant information solely to deliver the PyWorks Catalog generator. We **do not sell** or distribute your account info, product listings, or client databases to any advertising networks. Infrastructure partners (Cloudflare, Supabase, Safepay) only process data strictly required to route services.

5. Account Deletion & Rights

Merchants hold the right to download their product catalog data or permanently delete their storefront account. Upon account deletion, all database records associated with the merchant store are permanently wiped.
